This range represents single-stage 2- and 4-cylinder compressors of semi-hermetic design. A special feature is
the quiet action of these compressors which is achieved by precision machining and a special way of balancing.
Many years of refrigeration experience has resulted in the superior design of these compressors. They attain a
long working life and are well known for their reliability and trouble free operation.
PLEASE NOTE: Compressors with built on oil liquid seperators and receivers will be supplied only in connection
with mounting baseframe.
MOTOR AND COOLING
The motor of the types HS 12+22 can be used for three phase current from 220-240V in �-connection, or 380-415
volts, 50�60 cycles in star connection. The electric wiring is done in . The compressors from type HS 32 on are
equipped with a standard motor for three phase 400/690V, 50�60 cycles; other voltages can be supplied on
request. The windings incorporate thermistors, providing additional motor protection, if overloading should occur
they cut off over the electronic thermal relais. A switching frequency of 8 times per hour is the safe load. The HS
types are cooled by suction gas. This means that the cold refrigerant gas is conducted through the motor
windings to cool them. The HT type is used for low temperatures when the cooling capacity of the refrigerant gas
is not sufficient anymore. The motor is cooled by forced air over a built in fan on the motor end of the compressor.
The cooling air temperature should not exceed 30°C.
CAPACITY AND APPLICATION RANGE
Using different stroke volumes, all models are available with three capacity ranges, except the HS 32 it is
available in two ranges. The compressor end pressure amounts to 26.0 bar, the nominal speed is 1450 r.p.m. If
higher compressor end pressure is required please ask for further details. The application range is shown on the
capacity tables.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
The standard models HS 12-32 are equipped with an oil spoiler system. By a special construction of the oil spoiler
in the models HS 12+22 a capillary effect could be obtained, so that the oil contents could be reducted. The
standard models HS 34-76 are equipped with an oil pump. An oil pressure safety switch is connected to the oil
pump. The pressure difference of the oil is set on 1.4+0.3 bar. The pump works independent from turning
direction.
RANGE OF DELIVERY
Motor compressor with discharge and suction shut-off valves, gas protection charge, oil charge, thermal relais,
four rubber metal anti-vibration pads and an oil pressure safety switch. The type 54+76 are equipped with security
valves.
ACCESSORIES AT EXTRA COST
Mounted, connected and preprogrammed frequency-converter and pressure transmitter for Goeldner-Motion
types for suction pressure control.
Capacity controll, Soft-Starter, starting aid, crank case heater, watercooled cylinder heads, adapter for oil
pressure exchange pipe for parallel operation of several compressors, oil service valve, hot gas temperature
sensor;
