contained more patients with ulceration (30% versus 4%). There were no statistically significant
differences noted in quantitative improvement of IH by VAS scores or change in HAS scores
between the groups. Twenty-seven of 30 infants treated with atenolol (90%) and all patients
treated with propranolol showed clinical involution at the end of the treatment period (p= 0.09).
