131. ‘He is the best <strong>of</strong> all guides <strong>of</strong> men, no other being is like unto<br />

him; he is like a jewel, <strong>of</strong> imperishable gl<strong>or</strong>y, who hears this Law<br />

with a pure heart.<br />

132. ‘Theref<strong>or</strong>e let those who are endowed with l<strong>of</strong>ty ambitions,<br />

always hear this Law which causes transcendent merit; let them hear<br />

it and gladly welcome it and lay it up in their minds and continually<br />

w<strong>or</strong>ship the three jewels with faith.’
