• Driving mode: Enable or disable Driving mode, to have incoming<br />
caller ID and text messages read out. See “Text-to-speech<br />
output” on page 150.<br />
• Sync: Enable or disable synchronization with your accounts. See<br />
“Sync” on page 135.<br />
LED Indicator<br />
The LED indicator , on the front of the phone above the<br />
screen (see “Front View” on page 17) animates or glows to<br />
show alerts or phone status.<br />
• Blue:<br />
– Pulses in multi-color blue while the phone is turning On or Off.<br />
– Blinks blue for a missed call, message or other notification.<br />
• Red:<br />
– Glows red when the phone is connected to a charger and<br />
charging.<br />
– Blinks red when the phone is connected to a charger and there<br />
is a problem with charging.<br />
– Blinks red when battery power is low (phone not connected to<br />
charger).<br />
• Green:<br />
– Glows green when the phone is connected to a charger and the<br />
battery is fully charged.<br />
Status Bar<br />
The Status Bar shows network and battery status and other<br />
details, including these common icons.<br />
Airplane Mode Active: All wireless<br />
communications are disabled. See “Airplane<br />
mode” on page 118.<br />
USB Connected: The phone is connected to a<br />
computer using a USB cable. For more information<br />
about transferring data between your phone and<br />
a computer, see “Transferring Data” on page 108.<br />
Voice Call: A voice call is in progress.<br />
Speakerphone: Speakerphone is enabled.<br />
Missed Call: Displays when there is a missed call.<br />
Mute: Voice or playback volume is muted.<br />
Battery Level: Shown fully charged.<br />
Battery Charging: Battery is charging.<br />
Device Power Critical: Battery has <strong>ver</strong>y little power<br />
remaining. Charge immediately.<br />
