PERSPECTIVE IS EVERYTHING
"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye is single (whole,
healthy), your whole body shall be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your
whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is
darkness, how great is that darkness!" (Mt 6:22-23)
My "eye" is my perspective; the way I see things, situations, relationships,
and my own self.
Am I "seeing" today in God's light? Or is it a purely human agenda
(my own and other people's) taking up my entire field of vision? How
burdensome that can be. And what a relief it is to let light in; that is,
hand it all over to God and re-focus on His presence in the whole picture.
Perspective is everything!
