The classification in the
m aps is primarily b ased on a
quartile division so that each
of the four classes comprises
the sam e num ber o f cases. The
regional classification used in the
maps is equivalent to the publication
date (with the exception of
pages X and X III where the
pertinent statistical years are
used).
