If you say, “No God, I can do something.”<br />

<strong>The</strong>n you are saying, “God, you are not right.” Let<br />

me give you an example. Jesus said to the<br />

disciples, “All you will forsake me.” Did they<br />

agree? No. What were they guilty of? Unbelief.<br />

God said to Peter that the gospel is not only for the<br />

Jews, it is for the Gentiles. And what did Peter<br />

say? “No, they are unclean.” And Jesus said to<br />

him, “What God has cleansed, don’t you ever call<br />

unclean.” [See Acts 10.]<br />

Unbelief is denying God. We need to keep this<br />

in mind, because look at Revelation 3:17:<br />

You say, “I am rich; I have acquired wealth and<br />

do not need a thing.” But you do not realize that<br />

you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.<br />

In this verse you have two evaluations. We say<br />

that we are “rich and do not need a thing.” <strong>The</strong><br />

True Witness says that we are “miserable,<br />

wretched, and blind.” Who is right? Do you<br />

believe that Jesus is telling the truth about us? Or<br />
