Please notice, there is no sign here of, “You are<br />

Babylon!” <strong>The</strong>re is a plea for us to repent, there is<br />

a plea for us to turn round. And I want to remind<br />

you of the disciples. <strong>The</strong> disciples at the Passover<br />

feast, where Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper,<br />

they were full of confidence in themselves. Every<br />

one, not only Peter, but every one disagreed with<br />

Christ when He said, “All of you will forsake Me.”<br />

<strong>The</strong>y were full of confidence; therefore, they were<br />

full of self; therefore, they were always fighting.<br />

And even at the Lord’s supper, they were fighting<br />

which of them would be the greatest. This is also<br />

found in Luke 22.<br />

But after the cross, that was the means of<br />

shaking the disciples. You see, the ambition of the<br />

disciples was egocentric, they were looking for<br />

Christ to establish His kingdom on this earth and<br />

each of them was thinking, “I will be the Prime<br />

Minister,” and “I will be the Finance Minister,”<br />

and so on. And I suppose you have the same thing<br />

every time we have an election. We join parties<br />

and those who are close friends of the candidate<br />

say, “Boy, when you get into power, I hope you<br />
