And what is our conclusion? Christ is<br />

addressing not a few people in the church, He’s<br />

addressing the whole church, through it’s<br />

leadership. This is not a problem of some of the<br />

members, this is a problem of the body of Christ,<br />

the last generation of Christians, and especially to<br />

us.<br />

And His evaluation of us is negative, yet it is<br />

true, folks; it is true. <strong>The</strong> question is, “Are we<br />

willing to accept His evaluation, no matter how<br />

painful it is?” It’s very painful, folks, when<br />

somebody says to us that, “You are wretched,<br />

miserable, poor, blind, and naked.” As the church<br />

that claims to have the truth, it’s very painful. But<br />

we will discover in what sense we are wretched,<br />

miserable, poor, and blind.<br />

I want to give you a text that will help you to<br />

understand our problem too. Jeremiah 17:9:<br />
