Now what kind of mind or attitude did Christ<br />

have? Verses 6-8 explain the mind of Christ:<br />

...Who, being in very nature God, did not<br />

consider equality with God something to be<br />

grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very<br />

nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.<br />

And being found in appearance as a man, he<br />

humbled himself and became obedient to death —<br />

even death on a cross!<br />

It was a mind of self-emptying. He was equal<br />

with God, He did not cling to His equality, but He<br />

let go. And He went down and down and He<br />
