on earth. And, by the way, the Greek word for<br />

“maturity” in many of your Bibles is translated as<br />

the word, “perfect.”<br />

Now I want to give you one example of this<br />

maturity because it’s in connection with the Three<br />

Angels’ <strong>Message</strong>. Turn to Matthew 5, and I want<br />

you to notice what Jesus is describing here. In<br />

verse 43, He’s describing the love that man can<br />

produce. This is the kind of love that we can<br />

generate. This is the kind of love that the Pharisees<br />

were teaching their people (Matthew 5:43):<br />

You have heard that it was said, “Love your<br />

neighbor [which is your fellow men, or your fellow<br />

Jews, in that context] and hate your enemy.”<br />

Now in verses 44-48, Jesus says that this<br />

concept of love doesn’t require you to be a<br />

Christian. Even the publicans can do that<br />

(Matthew 5:44-48):<br />

But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for<br />

those who persecute you, that you may be sons of<br />
