LEGISLATIVE IMPLICATIONS<br />
The Annual Report and Financial Statement have been prepared in accordance with the<br />
various legislation. Adoption <strong>of</strong> the Annual Report is covered by the Local Government Act<br />
1995, s5.53, s5.54, s5.55 and s6.4.<br />
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS<br />
There are no Financial implications resulting from this report.<br />
CONCLUSION<br />
The Annual Electors Meeting date, if adopted, allows sufficient time for advertising and falls<br />
within the 56 day threshold in which to hold the meeting from Council accepting the Annual<br />
Report.<br />

STAFF RECOMMENDATION<br />
That Council accept the 2007/08 Annual Report including the 2007/2008 Audited<br />
Annual Financial Statement and set the Annual Electors Meeting for Wednesday, 16<br />
March 2009 commencing at 6pm at the <strong>Shire</strong> Office, Council Chambers.<br />
