What bus lines are available?
O-Ringen’s buses run during competition time
(approximately 6:30am-4:30pm), and make
circuit trips between O-Ringen City’s bus stop
and the corresponding arena. They do not
stop at any other bus stops along the way.
How can I bike or walk to central
Arvika?
There is a special walking and biking path
from O-Ringen Square to central Arvika. The
distance is approximately 3km. The path starts
from O-Ringen Square and heads west. A portion
of the walking and biking path follows the
same road as the one-way car traffic. Barriers
separate the different traffic lanes. Use caution,
especially when crossing this road.
How can I find my camping spot
when I arrive at O-Ringen City?
Camping spot assignments will be published
on oringen.se well ahead of the time
when O-Ringen City’s campground opens on
Wednesdaym July 19. There you can see which
spot has been assigned to you and in which
of the areas (A-E) you live. Follow signs to the
correct area from the entrance to the campground.
Each “street” in the campsite is signed
with the numbers of the spots it leads to.
How can I get to O-Ringen City’s
bus stop if I am staying at the
campground?
O-Ringen City’s bus stop is located about 500
meters east of O-Ringen Square. If you are
camping, you can either walk or bike to the
bike parking, which is located 300 meters from
the bus stop. It is not allowed to bike the last
part of the way up to the bus stop. Follow the
marked way so that buses have clear access to
and from the stop. See the overview map of
O-Ringen City in this brochure.
How can I get to O-Ringen City’s bus
stop if I am driving?
If you are traveling by car, follow signs to
O-Ringen City’s campground and then signs
to parking for bus passengers. Parking is located
about 200-800 meters from the bus stop.
See the overview map of O-Ringen City in this
brochure.
Is there visitor parking for O-Ringen
City / O-Ringen Square?
Yes, visitor parking with approximately 250
spots is available next to camping area C. Follow
signs from the roundabout Gaterondellen
in Arvika. See the overview map of O-Ringen
City in this brochure.
When are most competitors starting
and traveling?
Under normal circumstances, most competitors
per hour start between 10am and 12pm,
but this also depends on outside factors, such
as weather. If you have free start times and
want to minimize the risk for queues at bus
stops and parking lots, you can choose to start
outside this time range.
Can I ride the bus to the arenas if I
am not competing?
Yes, traveling companions and spectators can
ride O-Ringen buses for free.
Which route should I take to get to
the arenas each day?
Always follow the recommended directions
according to the overview maps and corresponding
information. If you are coming from
a direction other than Arvika, join the indicated
directions as early as possible. Using the
recommended travel directions improves traffic
flow for both cars and buses. Current traffic
information can also be found in the program
brochure on oringen.se and in the app O-Ringen
Play.
