Efficient process support in the regulated grid business APPLICATION FIELDS AND BENEFITS OVAG NETZ AG As a grid operator, we have various types of relationships: Creating grid contracts with suppliers, connectees, connection users and feeders had always been difficult and time-consuming because we had to access several different data sources. Today, TINA is the central working platform at ovag Netz AG in the departments of metering, billing, connection planning/documentation and grid operation. Among other things, all contracts concerning grid access are created with TINA. All information, such as device, access, customer data and contacts, are uniformly available in the entire company. Thanks to TINA, the speed and quality of our work processes have increased significantly. We also use TINA for various data compilations and reports (such as metering points and grid connections per voltage level) to fulfil the publication and accountability obligations. With more than 10,000 plants, the monthly Renewable Energy LAW (EEG) master data report, for example, would be hardly feasible without TINA.
