be the star of the sector<br />

product it has developed<br />
for the rapidly developing<br />
rooftop solar energy<br />
market and called ‘the roof<br />
tile of the century’.<br />

CW Enerji, which has a 420MW solar panel<br />
production capacity as of the end of 2017, will<br />
be moving in mid <strong>2018</strong> to its brand new factory<br />
with a production capacity of 920 MW solar<br />
panels covering an area of 46 thousand square<br />
meters in the Antalya Organized Industry<br />
Zone. The company has also completed all the<br />
agreements for another factory in the Antalya<br />
Free Zone which will start at the end of the year<br />
with a capacity of 120 MW and increase up<br />
to 500 MW. CW Enerji CEO Tarık Sarvan,<br />
whom we got together with before the <strong>Solarex</strong><br />
Istanbul fair, responded to our questions.<br />
What is the average rate of domestic<br />
production among the CW Enerji<br />
products and what are your mid<br />
to long term goals to increase this<br />
rate?<br />
We currently have a 55% rate of domestic<br />
production. Actually it is possible to procure<br />
the raw materials in all the products, other<br />
than cells, domestically. Unfortunately though,<br />
because the sector is not yet fully able to stand<br />
on its own feet and respond to the sector needs<br />
with quality at world standards, we are still<br />
forced to opt for imported products. In this case<br />
the rate of domestic production is more involved<br />
with the incentives offered by our country and<br />
the investments made by the other enterprises to<br />
address the sector rather than our goals. There<br />
are over 40 small and large scale solar panel<br />
producers in our country and they are forced<br />
to import their raw materials from abroad due<br />
to the quality and quantity problems that exist.<br />
Extra support to domestic panel producers will<br />
enable the sector and the raw material producers<br />
to grow.<br />
How many countries is CW Enerji<br />
exporting to as of the end of 2017<br />
and what are the main countries of<br />
export?<br />
2017 yılı sonu itibariyle 420MW güneş<br />
paneli üretim kapasitesine sahip olan CW<br />
Enerji, <strong>2018</strong> yılı ortasında Antalya Organize<br />
Sanayi Bölgesinde yer alan 46 bin metrekare<br />
büyüklüğünde 920 MW güneş paneli üretim<br />
kapasitesine sahip yeni fabrikasına geçecek.<br />
Firma ayrıca yılsonunda ilk etapta 120 MW<br />
üretim kapasitesiyle başlayıp 500 MW’a kadar<br />
çıkacak olan Antalya Serbest Bölgesindeki<br />
diğer fabrikası için gerekli tüm anlaşmaları<br />
sağladı. <strong>Solarex</strong> İstanbul fuarı öncesi bir araya<br />

CW Enerji ürünlerinde ortalama<br />
yerlilik oranı nedir ve bu oranı<br />
yükseltmek için orta ve uzun vadeli<br />
hedefleriniz nedir?<br />
%55 yerlilik oranımız mevcuttur. Aslına<br />
bakarsanız şu anda hücre dışında neredeyse<br />
tüm ürünlerde yerli hammadde temin edilmesi<br />
şansı vardır. Ama ne yazık ki sektörün daha<br />
ayaklarının tam olarak yere basamaması<br />
nedeniyle gerek sektör ihtiyaçlarına olan cevap<br />
gerekse de kalite açısından dünya standartlarını<br />
yakalayamamış olması nedeniyle ithal ürünleri<br />
tercih etmek zorunda kalıyoruz. Bu durumda<br />
yerlilikte bizim hedeflerimizden ziyade<br />
ülkemizin teşvikleri ve diğer girişimcilerin<br />
sektöre hitap etmek için yapacağı yatırımlar<br />
ön plana geçmektedir. Küçüklü büyüklü 40’ın<br />
üzerinde güneş paneli imalatçısı ülkemizde<br />
mevcut ve hammaddeleri gerek nitelik gerekse<br />
de niceliksel açıdan varolan zorunluluklar<br />
yüzünden yurtdışından getirmek durumunda.<br />
Yerli panel üretimine verilecek ekstra destekler,<br />
sektörün büyümesine ve yerli hammadde<br />
imalatçılarının büyümesine yol açacaktır.<br />
