company, which employs around 450
people, is at a level that can compete in the
international market.
Since the year of our foundation in 1964,
our biggest goal as a company has been
to add new accomplishments to the
successful projects we have undertaken
and always go a step further. In 2011 we
introduced our slogan “We Link Turkey
to the Future”, a slogan that we think best
describes our perspective, to the Turkish
Cable Sector.
As the Turkish operations of the Prysmian
Group, a world leader in the power and
telecom cables sector, we want to make it
clear that this is not just a slogan for us.
We are “Linking Turkey to the Future”
in every step we take all the way to the
projects we undertake throughout the
world with our employees and our cables.
We are always working towards this goal.
How was the year 2017 for you
and what are your expectations
for 2018?
As the Prysmian Group Turkey, the
leading company in the Turkish cables
sector, we are in a leading position in
the hi-tech products market. The most
important feature that has made us a
leader is our investments in the future of
our sector.
We started 2017 out strong just like in
2016. Our goal in 2017 was to keep
adding achievements to our already
obtained success, especially in terms of the
CPR – Construction Products Regulation.
We met challenges and completed them
successfully in the way that becomes us.
Similarly in 2018 we aim to undertake
important and prestigious projects,
contribute to our country’s economy,
accomplish successful work and
participate in projects to improve the
Turkish cable sector.
How many years have you been
participating the Solarex Istanbul
Solar Energy and Technologies
Fair, the 11th of which is being
held this year? Could you tell us
about the products and solutions
you plan to display at the fair?
We will be participating in the Solarex
Fair for the third time this year. We will
be displaying the products and services

arasındadır. Yaklaşık 450 kişinin istihdam
edildiği firmamızın kurulu kapasitesi,
uluslararası pazarlarda da rekabet
edebilecek seviyededir.
1964’te kurulduğumuz ilk günden bu
yana, firma olarak en büyük hedefimiz
imzamızı attığımız başarılı çalışmalara
yenilerini eklemek ve hep bir adım
öteye gitmek oldu. Bu bakış açımızı en
iyi şekilde tanımladığına inandığımız
sloganımızı da 2011 yılında Türk Kablo
Sektörü ile paylaştık: “Türkiye’yi Yarınlara
Bağlıyoruz.”
Enerji ve telekomünikasyon kabloları
sektöründe dünya lideri Prysmian

bu ifadenin bizim için sadece bir firma
sloganı olmadığını belirtmek isteriz.
Çalışanlarımızdan, kablolarımızla hayat
verdiğimiz dünya çapındaki projelere

Yarınlara Bağlıyoruz”, bunun için
çalışıyoruz.
2017 yılı sizin için nasıl geçti ve
2018 yılına dair beklentileriniz
neler?
Türk kablo sektörünün öncü firması
olan Prysmian Group Türkiye olarak,
yüksek teknoloji ürünleri pazarında lider
durumdayız. Bizi lider yapan en büyük
özelliğimiz, sektörümüzün geleceğine
yaptığımız yatırımlardır.
2016 yılında olduğu gibi 2017 yılına da
aynı şekilde hızlı başladık. Hedefimiz,
2017 yılında, başta CPR – Yapı
we provide to the sector as well as drawing
attention to fire safety that is vital for life
and property security, with our project
“Caution! Not all Solar (PV) Cables
are Alike..”, which is the fourth stage of
our “Caution! All Cables are not Alike”
enterprise that we began in 2012 and
reinforced with our Prysmian Performance
Test.
As a leader in the field of solar cables,
we are pleased to be participating in the
‘Solarex Istanbul Fair’, the biggest fair in
our country on the subject of solar energy.
From our perspective it is vital for us to
convey the experiences of our group in
the solar energy sector of other countries,
especially those of our German factory, to
the sector and our priority is to get both
our Turkish staff and our international
specialists involved when needed to
provide solutions.
What are your expectations from
the Solarex Istanbul Fair?
As a company that has undertaken
serving the renewable energy sector as
its principle, our expectation from the
Solarex Fair is of course to meet with key
players of the renewable energy sector
and introduce our company in all fields
where our cables can be used. The Solarex
Istanbul fair is one that addresses a certain
section in terms of product group so we
want to share with everyone what we do
already and what we can do in the solar
cables sector.
