Sunel continues to carry out its<br />
engineering experience on large-scale<br />
based projects. Declaring that they will<br />
continue to design, sale, marketing,<br />
installation and maintenance of<br />
photovoltaic systems and construction of<br />
power plants in <strong>2018</strong> as in 2017, Gokhan<br />
Dilek, Sales Director of Sunel Energy,<br />
said that they offer customized solutions<br />
for economic and technical needs of<br />
investors.<br />
Due to the increase in the<br />
distribution costs experienced at<br />
the end of the year, the industry<br />
had an intense year. How was year<br />
2017 for Sunel?<br />
The year 2017 was very intense but so<br />
good for us. We have to specify that if<br />
you want to have an operational facility<br />
in Turkey, you need to have unlicensed<br />
facility initially. At the point we have<br />
reached today, there are approximately<br />
3000 MW of operational solar facilities.<br />
The share of the unlicensed segment is<br />
big. Legislative changes have been made,<br />
so we foresee that unlicensed facilities<br />
will be finished as of 2019. There are just<br />
investors who have received the necessary<br />
permits before the closing capacity of<br />
facilities. On the other hand, I hope<br />
unlicensed segment will continue the<br />
with industrial roofs. As you mentioned,<br />
because of the increase in the distribution<br />
costs and the limit to be made in the<br />
year 2017, it was a very busy year for<br />
all components of the sector. As Sunel,<br />
we have had many jobs in 2017 and we<br />
have had a busy year but we are pleased<br />
to see that our investors are happy. We<br />
successfully accomplished all the projects<br />
