rooftop application weights were placed on<br />
certain locations of the roof before doing<br />
the drilling and screw tightening processes.<br />
On the ground application, the drilling and<br />
cementing process was done and the 11,4<br />
MW project was completed.<br />
The long awaited steps are being<br />
taken to open up the rooftop<br />
market. What are the projects<br />
projected for <strong>2018</strong>? What will be<br />
the portion of rooftop installations<br />
in these projects?<br />
We can divide the rooftop roughly into 2<br />
sections, individual and industrial rooftops.<br />
On the individual side, some sections<br />
have been organized for the under 10 KW<br />
applications but we are not at the desired<br />
level yet in terms of time period. On<br />
industrial rooftops, grant projects (TKDK,<br />
development agencies, etc.) and the leading<br />
projects of corporate companies stand out.<br />
Unlicensed 1 MW ground installations have<br />
now started to decrease and with the increased<br />
energy costs and falling prices investors are<br />
gradually trending towards rooftop systems.<br />
There are companies that develop<br />
and apply projects abroad as<br />
investors and EPC. Do you have a<br />
goal in this direction?<br />
Yes, we have started to operate in the Middle<br />
East and Northern African regions. We<br />
participated in a fair in Iran last month and<br />
opened a stand. We have also opened an office<br />
there. Many Turkish investors have projects<br />
at the technical assessment stage in Africa.<br />
These are projects that will be realized in the<br />
mid to long term.<br />
You have a franchise system you<br />
implement in Turkey, can you tell<br />
us about this structure?<br />
You have to be outstanding in both the sales<br />
process and the after sales services with<br />
the philosophy ‘think global, apply local’.<br />
We manage both of these processes with<br />
organizations that are strong in the region<br />
and have the same enthusiasm in the sector<br />
as us. We are currently active in 20 regions<br />
and we want to dominate over all the regions.<br />
When the individual market opens up we aim<br />
to organize by districts and be present in 400<br />
locations.<br />
Which products or solutions will<br />

Çatı pazarını kabaca; bireysel çatılar ve<br />
endüstriyel çatılar olarak 2 bölüme ayırabiliriz.<br />
Bireysel tarafta 10 KW altı uygulamalar için<br />
yapılan çalışmalarda bazı bölümler düzenlendi<br />
fakat süre olarak henüz istenilen düzeyde<br />
değiliz. Endüstriyel çatılarda ise öncelikle<br />
hibeli projeler (TKDK, Kalkınma ajansları<br />
vb.) ve kurumsal firmaların öncü projeleri<br />
ön plana çıkmakta. Artık lisanssız 1 MW<br />
saha kurulumları azalmaya başladı, enerji<br />
maliyetlerinin artması ve fiyatların düşmesiyle<br />
beraber yatırımcılar yavaş yavaş çatıya<br />
yöneldiler.<br />
Yatırımcı ve EPC olarak yurtdışında<br />
proje geliştiren ve uygulayanlar<br />
firmalar bulunmakta. Sizin bu<br />
yönde bir hedefiniz var mıdır?<br />
Evet, biz de Ortadoğu ve Kuzey Afrika<br />
bölgelerinde faaliyet göstermeye başladık.<br />
Firma olarak geçtiğimiz ay İran’da fuara<br />
katıldık ve standımızı açtık. Orada bize bağlı<br />
ofisimizi de açtık. Birçok Türk yatırımcısının<br />
Afrika’da çoğunluğu teknik değerlendirme<br />
aşamasında olan projeleri var. Orta ve uzun<br />
vadede hayata geçecek projelerdir.<br />
Türkiye’de uyguladığınız Franchise<br />
sisteminiz var, bu yapıdan bahseder<br />
misiniz?<br />

company. Along with our franchising, we will<br />
provide exploration and planning before sales,<br />

turnkey solutions for each region.<br />

We will be participating in <strong>Solarex</strong> Istanbul<br />
for the 8th time this year. The fair gets larger<br />
every year and brings together the players and<br />
stakeholders of the sector. We support this<br />
organization that is powerful in its region, we<br />
feel it is important and we hope that it grows<br />
even more.<br />
