Development contribution plans (DCPs)<br />
Urban development generates demand for a range of<br />
costly infrastructure. Development contributions and<br />
associated requirements enable <strong>Council</strong> to recover a<br />
significant portion of those costs from the beneficiaries<br />
of growth.<br />
Development contributions are divided into four groups:<br />
1. major roads and traffic control infrastructure<br />
2. other development infrastructure (preschools,<br />
playgrounds and basic sporting open space)<br />
