THE D AJJAL AN D THE RETURN OF JES US<br />
It is <strong>Al</strong>lah who takes away the souls at time <strong>of</strong><br />
their death, and those that die not - during their<br />
sleep.<br />

<strong>And</strong> His saying,<br />

It is He who takes your souls by night (when<br />
you are asleep), and has knowledge <strong>of</strong> all that<br />
you have done by day.<br />
[Surah Antim (6) : 60]<br />
<strong>And</strong> His saying,<br />

... until when death approaches one <strong>of</strong> you, Our<br />
Messengers take his soul. 27 [SurahAntim (6): 61)<br />
<strong>The</strong> discussion in this study is not about the raising <strong>of</strong> 'Isa<br />
(may <strong>Al</strong>lah's peace and blessing be upon him), (to the sky). However,<br />
mention <strong>of</strong> it has occurred in order to explain that he was<br />
raised both in body and soul. Further, that he is alive now in<br />
heaven, and shall descend at the end <strong>of</strong> time. He will be believed<br />
in by those who are present (in his time) from the people<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Book. 28<br />
