<strong>The</strong> Trials & Tribulations <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Dajjal</strong><br />
So he will kill him, and then bring him back to life.<br />
<strong>The</strong>n he (the believing man) will say, "By <strong>Al</strong>lah, I<br />
have never been more sure about you than I am<br />
today."<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>Dajjal</strong> will want to kill him but will not be permitted<br />
to do so." 4<br />
<strong>The</strong> narration <strong>of</strong> <strong>Ibn</strong> Majah from <strong>of</strong> Abu Umamah al-Bahili<br />
(may <strong>Al</strong>lah be pleased with him), in which the Prophet(~) said:<br />
"<strong>And</strong> Surely from his greatfttnah is that he will say to<br />
a Bedouin, 'Do you think that if I resurrect your father<br />
and mother for you, would you then testify that<br />
I am your lord?'<br />
He will respond, 'Yes.'<br />
<strong>The</strong>n two shayrans (devils) will take the appearance<br />
<strong>of</strong> his father and mother, and will say to him, 'O my<br />
son! Follow (and believe in) him, for verily he is your<br />
lord."' 5<br />
We ask <strong>Al</strong>lah to preserve us, and we seek His protection from<br />
trials and tribulation.<br />
