THE SPREAD OF PEACE,<br />
SECURITY AND THE<br />
APPEARANCE OF BLESSINGS<br />
IN HIS TIME<br />
THE TIME 'ISA (may <strong>Al</strong>lah's peace and blessing be upon<br />
him) will be a time <strong>of</strong> peace, security and prosperity. <strong>Al</strong>lah<br />
will send in his time abundant rain. <strong>The</strong> earth will emit<br />
her fruits and her blessings: wealth shall be plentiful. Mutual<br />
hatred, envy and enmity shall disappear.<br />
For it occurs in the lengthy l:iadith <strong>of</strong> al-Nawwas ibn Sam'an in<br />
which is mention <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Dajjal</strong>, the descension <strong>of</strong>'Isa (may <strong>Al</strong>lah's<br />
peace and blessing be upon him) and the appearance <strong>of</strong> Ya'juj<br />
and Ma'juj in his time, his supplication to <strong>Al</strong>lah that he destroys<br />
them. Further, in it is his saying (;I):<br />
"<strong>The</strong>n <strong>Al</strong>lah shall send rain which no house <strong>of</strong> clay<br />
or (the tent <strong>of</strong>) camel hair will keep out and it will<br />
wash (away) the earth until it shall appear to be a<br />
mirror. <strong>The</strong>n the earth will be told to bring forth her<br />
fruits and restore her blessings, and as a result, there<br />
would grow (such a big) pomegranate that a group<br />
