the Most Sublime, will manifest to every Muslim, literate or illiterate.<br />
<strong>And</strong> will conceal it, from whomever He wishes to put to<br />
trial, or to become from the wretched; and there is no reason<br />
why this should be impossible.' 17<br />
8. From his descriptions, too, is that which has come in the<br />
l:iadith <strong>of</strong> Fatimah bint Qays (may <strong>Al</strong>lah be pleased with her), in<br />
the story <strong>of</strong> a/Jassdsah, in which Tamim al-DarI (may <strong>Al</strong>lah be<br />
pleased with him) said;<br />
" ... So we hastened quickly (with him) till we reached<br />
the monastery, and there behold! We saw the most<br />
enormous human we had ever seen, most severely<br />
fettered with chains ... " 18<br />
9. Similarly, in the l:iadith <strong>of</strong> 'Imran ibn f:f usayn (may <strong>Al</strong>lah be<br />
pleased with him) who said: 'I heard the Messenger <strong>of</strong> <strong>Al</strong>lah (~)<br />
say:<br />
"<strong>The</strong>re is no creation, since the creation <strong>of</strong> Adam<br />
until the H our is established, more enormous than<br />
