THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS<br />
OF THE DAJJAL<br />
THE TRIAL OF THE DAJJAL will be the greatest trial<br />
and tribulation; from the time when <strong>Al</strong>lah created Adam<br />
until the Hour establishes (there will be no greater fitnah<br />
than his). This will be because <strong>of</strong> the great miraculous feats that<br />
<strong>Al</strong>lah will create with him, which will astonish the minds and<br />
perplex the intelligent ones.<br />
For it is reported that he will have with him a paradise and a<br />
hell fire, but his paradise will be his hell fire and his hell fire will<br />
be his paradise. He will have rivers <strong>of</strong> water and mountains <strong>of</strong><br />
bread. He will command the sky to send down rain, and it will<br />
rain, and he will command the earth to produce vegetation and it<br />
will do so. <strong>The</strong> treasures <strong>of</strong> the earth will follow him, and he will<br />
travel rapidly like clouds driven by the wind. <strong>And</strong> he will do<br />
other miraculous feats. <strong>Al</strong>l <strong>of</strong> which occurs in the authentic<br />
ahadith. From them is what Imam Muslim narrates in his $afJifJ,<br />
that Hudhayfah (may <strong>Al</strong>lah be pleased with him) said, the Messenger<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Al</strong>lah (~) said:<br />
