for further study or for careers in the non-profit, governmental, and business sectors. The<br />

College offers both the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in urban environmental<br />

studies, thus providing flexibility that optimizes career possibilities.<br />

Upon completion of the urban environmental studies major, students will be able to<br />

• articulate relationships between anthropogenic and natural environments using<br />

scientific and humanistic paradigms<br />

• interpret complex interactions between social structures and human settlements<br />

• apply appropriate methodological tools to examine urban environmental issues<br />

and perform related analyses<br />

• create and communicate practical potential solutions to complex urban<br />

environmental problems<br />
