Objective
5.4.1:
To raise awareness and gain a greater appreciation of
interculturalism at pre school, primary school, secondary school level
and 3 rd level institutions.
Rationale: Preschool: Traveller children are not always welcome in general crèche
facilities. Lack of awareness of issues relating
to equality, diversity and the
importance of social inclusion in early childhood.

To support Donegal County Childcare Committee in the roll-out of the
Cross Border Training Initiative ‘Respecting Difference’ Programme
to 21 community and private childcare settings in Co. Donegal over a
3 year period.
