Current Research
My research is in holographic optical tweezers, involving both development of the technology and
biological applications. My biological experiments include directly trapping and performing force
measurement on single cells. I am also interested in developing fast object tracking with high-speed
video cameras, and real-time digital hologram design with graphics cards.
