Current Research
The goal of my scientific research is to delineate the formation and evolution of galaxies from the
uncharted early universe until the present day. In particular, I am currently exploiting the latest
generation of deep, wide-area multi-wavelength surveys to explore the crucial epoch of re-ionization
when the first, primeval galaxies formed and follow their cosmological evolution. These unique data
sets provide key information to trace the assembly history of galaxies over cosmic time, allowing us to
put vital constraints on theoretical models of galaxy formation.
