Current Research<br />

My background is in computer simulations aimed at understanding phenomena in soft and condensed<br />

matter such as crystal nucleation in simple fluids, covalent-bonded systems, ionic systems, cavitation<br />

and glass formation. This can be achieved using Monte Carlo, Molecular Dynamics or Brownian<br />

Dynamics simulations together with, when needed, numerical simulation techniques to study rare<br />

events (such as Forward Flux Sampling). More recently, I have been interested in studying aggregation<br />

of active colloids and bacteria.<br />
