IT’S TIME WE KNEWOUR HISTORYThose who know Pat, know of his passionatesupport for Robert Consedine’s book HealingOur History and of his persistence in encouragingpeople to read it and understand why we’reat where we’re at in terms of biculturalism inAotearoa. Pat believes if everyone in the countryread it, or undertook some Treaty training,they would begin to discover life from anotherperspective and our race relations would comefrom a more kind and fair place.who organises the Workshop. Kerry and I need to get tothe local hall and set up to start the next day.The local hospitality is superb. We hug as he boilsthe jug for a cuppa.This is the first stop on my arrival in Napier to deliveranother (two day) Treaty Workshop. Pat and I forget thetime as we have so much to share.
