Virus and malware filtering
Antimalware Media Type Whitelist
List of media types
Requests for web objects that belong to these media types are allowed to skip virus and malware
filtering by an appropriate rule.
Type — MediaType
Initial entries — application/ogg – Audio/Video files in OGG format
application/vnd.ms-af – Microsoft Multimedia Container
and others

Add a wildcard expression to a virus and malware filtering whitelist for URLs
You can add a wildcard expression to a whitelist in a virus and malware filtering rule to exempt requests
for URLs that match this expression from filtering.
1 Go to Policy | Rule Sets.
2 On the rule sets tree, select the rule set that contains rules for virus and malware filtering, for example
Gateway Antimalware. The rules appear on the settings pane.
3 Find the rule that uses a whitelist to exempt requests for particular URLs from filtering, for example,
Allow URL hosts that match in list Antimalware User Whitelist, and click on the list name. The
Edit List (Wildcard Expression) window opens.
4 Click Add. The Add Wildcard Expression window opens.
5 In the Wildcard expression field, type a wildcard expression.
Note: To add multiple wildcard expressions at once, click Add multiple and type every wildcard
expression in a new line.
6 [Optional] In the Comment field, type a comment on the wildcard expression.
7 Click OK. The window closes and the wildcard expression appears on the whitelist.
8 Click Save Changes.
