Blueberry Cashew Crumble<br />

1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen<br />

1/4 cup cashews<br />

3 dates, pitted or 1 tbsp honey<br />

1/2 tsp vanilla or 1 small piece vanilla bean<br />

1 cup water<br />

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Cashews make this smoothie creamy<br />

while supplying important EFAs.<br />

Blood Builder Smoothie<br />

1 1/2 cups orange juice, freshly pressed<br />

2 tbsp pumpkin seeds (raw and soaked)<br />

1 tbsp hemp seeds<br />

1 banana<br />

1/2 cup cherries<br />

1 serving green superfood<br />

Blend ingredients together. Add water if you would like your smoothie thinner. The vitamin C in<br />

the orange juice helps the body to absorb iron and reduce heavy menstruation by strengthening<br />

blood capillaries. Pumpkin, cherries and hemp seeds provide iron and greens supply minerals<br />

that are important <strong>for</strong> blood and menstrual health.<br />
