60 In Part 5 <strong>of</strong> this report, sub-regions have been identified based on the regional <strong>of</strong>fice administering the tenure <strong>and</strong>/or grant. In some<br />

instances this may skew the reporting <strong>of</strong> the number <strong>and</strong> area <strong>of</strong> tenures <strong>and</strong> grants by sub-region as there are some regional <strong>of</strong>fices<br />

such as Kamloops (Thompson-Okanagan sub-region) <strong>and</strong> Prince George (Omineca sub-region) that administer a number <strong>of</strong> tenures<br />

<strong>and</strong> grants on behalf <strong>of</strong> other <strong>of</strong>fices in the provinces for specific programs areas. For example, the Kamloops <strong>of</strong>fice in the Thompson-<br />

Okanagan sub-region h<strong>and</strong>les all tenures <strong>and</strong> grants in the province for all season resorts <strong>and</strong> alpine skiing. This will impact regional<br />

breakdowns presented throughout Part 5 <strong>of</strong> this report.
