toxicity. The feasibility of multiple course treatments with hematopoietic rescue<br />

will also need to be assessed as this approach has already demonstrated promise<br />

in certain situations such as testicular carcinoma 13. Finally, well planned studies<br />

comparing these therapies as intensification in first remission need to be<br />

done. The future role of high dose chemotherapy and ABMR in solid tumors<br />

will continue to expand and, hopefully, result in higher cure rates in these patients.<br />
