2 In the Solver area, select Stationary segregated.<br />

3 In the Segregated groups area, locate the group with the dependent variables from<br />

the Electromagnetic Waves application mode (begins with tExEyEz10) and click its<br />

Delete button.<br />

4 Then click the Settings button for the first group in the list.<br />

5 In the dialog that appears, choose Direct (PARDISO) from the Linear system solver list.<br />

6 Click OK.<br />

7 Repeat Steps 4 through 6 for the second group.<br />

8 Select the Manual specification of segregated steps check box. Then click the Settings<br />

button for group 1 beneath this check box.<br />

9 In the dialog box that appears, type 1 in the Damping constant edit field.<br />

10 Click OK.<br />

11 Do the same thing for group 2. This ensures that the full step is taken for each<br />

segregated solve steps, which is most efficient for one-way coupled problems like<br />

this one.<br />

12 Click OK to close the Solver Parameters dialog box.<br />
