Chapter 8: Distributed Deployment at Runtime
Operations
The Sonic Management Console provides runtime monitoring and management on
management containers and ESB Containers.
Note The operations and activities mentioned in this chapter are described in the “Managing
the Sonic Management Environment” chapter in the Progress SonicMQ Configuration
and Management Guide”
Actions
You can perform operations on ESB Containers when their management container is
running, as shown:
You can also perform operations on a management container. However, you can only start
a remote container if you have associated it with an Activation Daemon that is running on
the remote system. See the “Extending and Activating Components” chapter in the
Progress SonicMQ Configuration and Management Guide for information on setting up
Activation Daemons on remote systems.
