Example of a Scripted Build of <strong>ESB</strong> Artifacts<br />

Using Scripted Builds to Export <strong>ESB</strong> Artifacts<br />

The following steps describe setting up and running a scripted build of the Samples.<strong>ESB</strong><br />

project in a <strong>Sonic</strong> Workbench installation on a Windows system. While resources in the<br />

workbench installation are used, no <strong>Sonic</strong> components or tools are running. The project<br />

used has not been imported, built, or uploaded.<br />

◆ To run a scripted build of the Sample.<strong>ESB</strong> project:<br />

1. Download and install C:\jdk1.5.0_11.<br />

2. Update the user properties file with the source and target locations, as shown:<br />

3. Open a console window to the sonic_install_dir\Workbench<strong>8.5</strong> root, and then set the<br />

Java home variable, and then enter the Ant Build command as shown:<br />

The output location contains the evaluated and exported file set of <strong>ESB</strong> artifacts for<br />

<strong>deploy</strong>ment.<br />
