Chapter 2: Exporting ESB Artifacts for Deployment
In this example, XQCommandline launches the ESB Admin Tool. The xarmapfile
property specifies the script that is redirected into the ESB Admin Tool.
The script mapUAT.script does applyMap for your defined User Acceptance Test map
and analysis report commands might look like this:
applyMap C:\TheProject.xar C:\UAT_map.xml C:\TheProject_UAT.xar C:\UAT.log
diff -xar C:\TheProject.xar -xar C:\TheProject_UAT.xar -out C:\diff_UAT.xml
● Extending the mapping script to import the mapped archive into the target domain
The archive for the target domain is well packaged so you can extend the ESB Admin
script to connect to the target domain and perform the import:
connect DomainUAT tcp://UAT_host:2506 UAT_Administrator UAT_Administrator
import archive C:\UAT_staging\TheProject_UAT.xar override
bye
