interna, ruptura de la arteria carótida.
4.- Mediastinitis como extensión del proceso infeccioso
5.- Fascitis necrosante del cuello
6.- Déficit neurológico por compromiso de los pares craneales
7.- Embolia séptica a nivel pulmonar, cerebral y articulaciones
8.- Osteomielitis de estructuras óseas de la base del cráneo,
mandíbula y columna cervical.
9.- Síndrome de Grisel (tortícolis inflamatoria causada por
sub-luxación de vértebras cervicales).
10.- Shock séptico
