La nuit du 30 septembre au 1er
octobre sera à marquer d'une
pierre blanche au Terminal 1.
Cette nuit-là, en effet, le circuit
passager va être entièrement
modifié et, dès les premières heures
du jour, les voyageurs emprunteront
un parcours inédit. Au rez-dechaussée,
huit des treize Postes
Infiltration Filtrage (PIF) seront mis
en service. Pour accéder aux salles
d'embarquement se trouvant à l'étage,
il faudra désormais traverser la zone
duty free ; cet espace, lui aussi en pleine mutation, accueillera, dès le printemps
prochain, un florilège de boutiques de luxe (Versace, Hermès, Max Mara…).
Initiés durant l’été 2014, les travaux – qui devraient s’achever en mai 2016 –
ont également vu, en juillet dernier, l’ouverture de trois nouvelles banques
d'enregistrement ainsi que d'un nouveau point de traitement des bagages hors
format. Un calendrier d’opérations que nous vous permettrons de suivre mois
par mois.
A GIANT LEAP FORWARD! The night of 30 September will mark a
milestone for Terminal 1. That night, the passenger-flow pattern will be
completely altered and, in the early hours of 1 October, travellers will follow
a new path through the terminal. On the ground floor, eight of the thirteen
“PIFs” (Poste Inspection Filtrage - customs and security checkpoints) will
be opened and operational. To access the departure lounges on the upper
floor, passengers will pass through the duty-free zone. There, too, change is
in the air and, this spring, the area will be home to an alluring array of luxury
boutiques, like Versace, Hermès and Max Mara.
This renovation project, begun in summer 2014 and to be completed May
2016, also created three new check-in counters that opened last July, along
with a new oversized baggage processing point. An operations schedule that
you can keep abreast of month by month.
