Codium geppii is a substitute name for C. divaricatum<br />

records <strong>of</strong> C. muelleri and most (if not all) Philippine records<br />

<strong>of</strong> C. tenue apply to <strong>the</strong> same undescribed species.<br />

restricted to <strong>the</strong> eastern North Atlantic (cf. Silva,<br />

1955:569-571). Placement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Philippine records awaits<br />

completion <strong>of</strong> a monographic study.
