NOTE.—This species was assigned to Feldmannia by
Pham-Hoang Ho (1969:298). As noted by Womersley and
Bailey (1970:288), however, it does not have the long
unbranched filaments with basal meristems that are characteristic
of that genus. It seems best placed in Hincksia.
