Aromas of the Mediterranean
To observe Capri is to pay homage to
beauty kissed by the sun. To touch it with
bare feet and nimble fingers is to grasp
its forms, sometimes harsh, sometimes
gentle. To savour Capri is to become
acquainted with genuine, local tastes.
To listen is to hear the pounding of the
waves on the Faraglioni, the song of the
seagulls and the voices of the people.
But focusing on the smells – ahh! that is
how one clearly perceives the scent of the
sea breeze, along with the intoxicating
citrus essenses that emanate and mix
