PLA is a biodegradable polymer derived
from renewable resources that can be
entirely composted and can lay claim to
being a significant innovation in efforts to
safeguard the environment while boosting
sustainable development. The molecules
making it up are all derived from plant
sources and its excellent chemical properties
– transparency, strength, impermeability
to oxygen and moisture – make for
a perfect packaging formula for fresh-cut
produce items, among others. In effect,
the increasingly strict environmental standards
we’re seeing bode well for an
increasingly strong demand for materials
like PLA in future since they keep foods
fresh while keeping them safe and can be
added after use to the household compost
bin along with any food residues.
«The trend we’re forecasting over the
short-to-mid-term –concluded Stipa – is
that packaging in the fresh-cut trade will
be fully eco-compatible by 2020, thereby
offering even more added value throughout
the supply chain in the process».
scorso.
Nel corso dell’evento sono state approfondite
diverse tematiche del fresh-cut, dal taglio
alla conservazione, dai macchinari alla
gestione dei rifiuti. «Gli scaffali dei supermercati
stanno diventando sempre di più
una vera e propria estensione dei frigoriferi
delle famiglie dei consumatori» ha affermato
Stipa. In tale contesto l’aspetto del packaging
gioca un ruolo fondamentale sul quale
l’azienda bolognese è stata chiamata a
e dello sviluppo sostenibile. Le sue
molecole di origine completamente vegetale
e le sue eccellenti proprietà chimico fisiche
– trasparenza, alta resistenza, impermeabilità
all’ossigeno e all’umidità – garantiscono
Seeds to the company’s most demanding
customers, the prime market targets for
seeds that provide the best in terms of
crop yield and quality. Indeed, Monsanto is
convinced that the brand-merging
process will end up making a significant
contribution to the efficiency and top quality
of the services the company provides
its customers, not to mention the fact that
the new additions to its catalogue will help
Monsanto meet a notably broad range of
market demands. The real aim of
Monsanto Vegetable Seeds is delivering
the success their customers want to see
in their fields. That’s why the company
puts so much effort into providing the best
and most efficient services it can to
cement the good, close and lasting customer
relations it has always pursued.
