100 ANNI DI FELLINI E SORDI
Nel 2020 si festeggiano i 100 anni dalla nascita di due tra i migliori Maestri del cinema, Federico Fellini e Alberto Sordi. Tante sono le
iniziative culturali a loro dedicate.
Nella Capitale, inaugura il 7 marzo e va avanti fino al 29 giugno Il Centenario. Alberto Sordi 1920-2020 nella villa romana dell’attore.
L’esposizione si snoda tra le stanze della residenza in piazzale Numa Pompilio, immersa nel verde di Caracalla e aperta al pubblico
per la prima volta, per ricordare il grande artista romano attraverso documenti inediti, oggetti, abiti, fotografie, video e curiosità. Il
Teatro dei Dioscuri al Quirinale ospita inoltre una seconda sezione con un importante focus su Storia di un italiano, il programma tv
degli anni ‘70 a cui l’attore era affezionato.
Non poteva che partire da Rimini, invece, l’iniziativa Fellini 100, genio immortale. La mostra, fino al 13 aprile presso Castel Sismondo,
nella città che ha dato i natali e tanto ha segnato l’arte del regista. A raccontarne la vita contribuiscono disegni, costumi, manoscritti
e fotografie storiche.

100 YEARS OF FELLINI AND SORDI
2020 marks 100 years since the birth of two of the greatest creative minds in film history: Federico Fellini and Alberto Sordi. Many
cultural initiatives dedicated to them have been planned throughout the year to mark the occasion.
Being inaugurated on 7 March and running until 29 June in the Capital is The Centenary. Alberto Sordi 1920-2020 within the actor’s
Roman villa. The exhibition winds through the rooms of his residence in Piazzale Numa Pompilio, immersed in the greenery of
Caracalla and opened to the public for the first time, as a reminder of the great Roman artist viewed through unpublished works,
clothing, photographs, videos and other artefacts. The Teatro dei Dioscuri at the Quirinale will also host a second component with a
significant focus on Storia di un Italiano, the TV programme from the 1970s of which the actor was very fond.
Only in Rimini, rather, could the initiative Fellini 100, immortal genius. The exhibition be held, running until 13 April at the Castel
Sismondo, in the city of birth and which greatly configured the director’s art. Drawings, costumes, manuscripts and historical
photographs contribute to recounting the story of his life.
