RUBRICHE Il valore settimanale del PUN delle prime quarantatré settimane del 2023 è stato pari a 128,81 €/ MWh, in riduzione del 59% rispetto alla media dello stesso periodo del 2022, pari a 314,31 €/MWh. La linea orizzontale indica il valore della media delle 52 settimane 2022, pari a 304,46 €/MWh (Fig. 2). Per le quotazioni dei diritti di emissione di CO2, che da settembre si aggiravano in una fascia di prezzi compresa tra gli 80 e gli 85 €/ton fino a inizio ottobre, all’avvio del conflitto tra Israele ed Hamas si è registrata un’accelerazione rialzista dei prezzi. Da metà ottobre, tuttavia, i prezzi mostrano una tendenza ribassista che riporta le quotazioni al di sotto degli 80 €/ton a fine ottobre. I ribassi si giustificano dal minore ricorso agli utilizzi di combustibili fossili, al rallentamento dello scenario macroeconomico e 305,00 alla crescita delle produzioni rinnovabili per la generazione elettrica. La 255,00 media delle quotazioni della CO2 dei primi dieci mesi del 2023 è stata pari a 85,18 €/ton che, rispetto 205,00allo stesso periodo dell’anno precedente pari a 81,16 €/ton, rappresenta un aumento del 5% (Fig. 155,00 3). Il petrolio è in tendenziale rialzo, in un contesto di elevata 105,00volatilità. Fino all’inizio di ottobre i fattori principali che influenzavano i prezzi petroliferi erano i tagli alla produzione dei Paesi aderenti all’OPEC+, in particolare 55,00 Russia ed Arabia Saudita, e le attese di una situazione economica globale in recessione. After being in a range of between €80 and €85/tonne since September, the prices of CO2 emission rights saw a bullish acceleration in early October with the start of the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Since mid-October, however, prices have shown a downward trend, bringing them back below 80 €/tonne by the end of October. These drops are justified by less use of fossil fuels, the slowdown in the macroeconomic scenario, and the growth of renewables for power generation. The average CO2 price for the first ten months of 2023 was €85.18/tonne which, 2022 compared to €81.16/tonne for the same period in the previous year, is an increase of 5% (Fig. 3). 2023 Media 2022 Oil tended to rise in a situation of high volatility. Up to the beginning of October, the main factors influencing oil prices were production cuts by OPEC+ countries, especially Russia and Saudi Arabia, and expectations of a global economic situation in recession. Since the beginning of October, events in the Middle East have introduced an additional source of concern, with fears that the expansion of the conflict could lead to the blocking of strategic oil trade routes such as the Strait of Hormuz.
