om simpatia e alto astral singulares, a cantora Karyme Hass, mostra porquê veio para ficar.<br />
Curitibana de nascença e coração, Karyme trocou o friozinho da capital paranaense pelo<br />
verão carioca com o objetivo de investir na carreira profissional. Apaixonada pela música<br />
desde criança, com 15 anos fugia de casa para cantar em um bar de Curitiba e expressar sua arte, mas<br />
foi em São Paulo que veio a oportunidade de estrear profissionalmente no mercado. O último CD,<br />
Barra de Saia, com participação do sambista Zeca Pagodinho, lhe rendeu muitas indicações e entre<br />
elas o Grammy Latino. O samba tem espaço garantido nas composições da cantora, que por ter a<br />
pele bem clara e cabelo liso, ganhou carinhosamente o apelido de branca, nome que passou a adotar:<br />
“prazer, meu nome é Branka, com K de Karyme”. Entre shows e gravações do novo CD, Karyme achou<br />
um tempo na concorrida agenda e embarcou para Curitiba, onde participou do editorial de moda e<br />
concedeu entrevista exclusiva para <strong>VOi</strong>.<br />

indhearted and with high spirits, natural singer Karyme Hass shows why she is here<br />
to stay. Curitibana by birth and heart, Karyme left the chilly State of Paraná Capital<br />
for the Rio de Janeiro summer, with the objective of investing in a professional career.<br />
Passionate about music ever since she was a child, at 15 she snuck away from home to sing<br />
in a bar in Curitiba and express her art, but it was in Sao Paulo that she got the chance to debut<br />
professionally. Her latest CD, Barra de Saia, with the participation of Samba singer, Zeca<br />
Pagodinho, earned her many nominations, amongst which was the Latin Grammy. Samba has<br />
a guaranteed space in the compositions of the singer, who has light colored skin and smooth<br />
hair, which got her the affectionate nickname branca, a name she went on to adopt: “it’s a<br />
pleasure, my name is Branka, with a K, as in Karyme”. Between concerts and recordings of<br />
her new CD, Karyme found time on a busy agenda and embarked to Curitiba, where she<br />
participated in this month’s fashion section and granted an exclusive interview with <strong>VOi</strong>.<br />
