Richard<br />
Richard is a single parent who had been on benefits for seven years when he contacted the<br />
team for help in early 2013, as the jobcentre had told him that he was going to be benefit<br />
capped later that year.<br />
Richard told us that he lacked work experience, that he struggled with job interviews and<br />
that he needed help with his CV, so we referred him to Skills UK for help with applying for<br />
jobs and finding work.<br />
