discussion. Each of them should once play the role of the interviewer<br />
(entrepreneur) and once the role of the interviewee<br />
(i.e. competitor, customer, supplier). Participants should<br />
conduct the interviews as realistically as possible.<br />
Mock interviews allow the participants to test their interview<br />
skills. They are likely to choose unsuccessful approaches and<br />
make mistakes. After each interview they should quickly<br />
discuss it. They should note on a piece of paper the questions<br />
that worked particularly well, the questions that did not work<br />
at all, and any particular situations of interest that arose.<br />
This exercise gives them the possibility to learn from their mistakes<br />
and find better ways of approaching interviewees once<br />
they go out to assess the market.<br />
