5.8 Aufzugsanlagen<br />
Aufzugsanlagen sind dem Gewerbeaufsichtsamt<br />

abnehmen zu lassen.<br />

5.9 Zuschauerräume<br />
Zuschauerräume ab 50 Personen müssen mindestens<br />
zwei Ausgänge haben. Diese Ausgänge sind<br />
möglichst weit voneinander entfernt anzuordnen.<br />
Zuschauerräume bedürfen einer besonderen Genehmigung,<br />
wenn sie mehr als 100 Personen fassen.<br />

5.10 Strahlenschutz<br />
5.10.1 Radioaktive Stoffe<br />
Für Umgang <strong>und</strong> Beförderung gilt die Strahlenschutzordnung,<br />
neueste Fassung. Liegt eine Genehmigung<br />
für den Umgang <strong>und</strong> die Beförderung noch<br />
nicht vor, so sind entsprechende Anträge an das<br />
Staatliche Gewerbeaufsichtsamt Hannover<br />

spätestens zwei Monate vor Messebeginn zu stellen.<br />
Unabhängig von der vorgenannten Genehmigung<br />
ist das Ausstellen <strong>und</strong> Vorführen radioaktiver<br />
Stoffe der Deutschen Messe AG <strong>und</strong> dem Gewerbeaufsichtsamt<br />
anzuzeigen.<br />
5.10.2 Laseranlagen<br />
Laseranlagen müssen die Anforderungen der<br />
Unfallverhütungsvorschrift „Laserstrahlung“ (BGV<br />
B2, ehemals VBG 93) erfüllen. Der Betrieb von<br />
Lasern der Klassen 3 B oder 4, die im Rahmen einer<br />
Produktpräsentation oder für werbliche Zwecke<br />
(Lasershow) eingesetzt werden sollen, sind vor der<br />
ersten Inbetriebnahme dem Staatlichen Gewerbeaufsichtsamt<br />
Hannover anzuzeigen. (Adresse siehe<br />
Punkt 5.10.1)<br />
5.10.3 Hochfrequenzgeräte, Funkanlagen,<br />
elektromagnetische Felder<br />
Zum Personenschutz <strong>und</strong> zur Vermeidung von<br />
störenden Beeinflussungen durch Fernmelde-,<br />
Funkanlagen <strong>und</strong> andere Einrichtungen der Telekommunikation<br />
sind u. a. die Bestimmungen folgender<br />
Gesetze <strong>und</strong> Verfügungen zu beachten: das<br />
Telekommunikationsgesetz (TKG), das Gesetz über<br />
die elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit von Geräten<br />
(EMVG) in der jeweils gültigen Fassung der Regulierungsbehörde<br />
für Telekommunikation <strong>und</strong> Post<br />
über die Gewährleistung des Schutzes von Perso-<br />

5.9 Presentation rooms<br />
Presentation rooms for 50 persons or more must<br />
have a minimum of 2 exits. Exits must be as far apart<br />
as possible. Presentation rooms for 100 persons or<br />
more require special approval from the organisers<br />
(see also Section 4.4.2).<br />
5.10 Protection against radiation<br />
5.10.1 Radioactive substances<br />
Any handling and transportation of radioactive substances<br />
must be done in compliance with the regulations<br />
on radiation protection. If the exhibitor is not<br />
already in possession of authorisation to handle and<br />
transport radioactive substances, an appropriate<br />
application must be made at least two months before<br />
the start of the fair to the Industrial Health and<br />
Safety Office:<br />

Independent of the issue of authorisation, notification<br />
must be made to Deutsche Messe AG and the<br />
Industrial Health and Safety Office (Gewerbeaufsichtsamt)<br />
if radioactive substances are to be displayed<br />
and demonstrated.<br />
5.10.2 Laser equipment<br />
Laser equipment must comply with the accident prevention<br />
regulations on “Laser beams“ (BGV B2, formerly<br />
VBG 93). The Hannover Industial Health and<br />
Safety Office (refer to Section 5.10.1 for the address)<br />
must be notified before using laser products of class<br />
3 B or 4 for advertising purposes or product presentations<br />
(laser shows).<br />
5.10.3 High frequency apparatus, radio equipment,<br />
electromagnetic fields<br />
For health reasons and to prevent any nuisance<br />
emanating from radio and communications systems<br />
and other telecommunication installations, certain<br />
laws and acts must be observed. These include the<br />
Law on Telecommunications (TKG) and the current<br />
version of the Law on the Electromagnetic Compatibility<br />
of Equipment (EMVG) of the Regulatory Authority<br />
for Telecommunications and Postal Services<br />
concerning the protection of persons in electromagnetic<br />
fields emitted from radio transmissions.
